So, yeah, almost freezing O'Clock departure (41°f) the masses departed in the pitch black to walk the canal route into Fromista, which was delightfully lit up by the sun as we approached and crossed the dam
We then had our breakfast at a wonderful little bar, stumbled into several other pilgrims in out growing Camino family and eventually set out on the road to Carrion de los Condes taking the senic route and adding 800 meters, but, oh so worth it. Walk besides a road or a river.... The road loses and we found that the river route was recently enhanced and now literally follows the river the entire distance.
We dragged ourselves into Villalcasar del sirga and enjoyed the company of two very determined honey bees hell bent on our salads.
Then, the fun preview came, 6km, no corners, just following a road to our end City. Neither of us had happy feet, but a quick visit to the local farmàci got the supplies to make then happy (till tomorrow).
So, yeah nothing special to note, no deep thoughts to share, just a long day of walking and running around town on a Monday trying to find SOMETHING open... Boadillas it was.. twice even and packed for tomorrow's slog... They get are off the menu for me now.
So, that's all, long, non-special day done.
